One of the keys came off and I haven’t been able to make a replacement key stay put, so I’d like to replace the whole keyboard. I looked at the Lenovo site and they don’t give many details, but what they do show looks horribly complex. Has anyone created a guide or step-by-step explanation?
Hi @fixer123, Here’s the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop, taken from this webpage Go to p.96 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the keyboard bezel assembly. As you said it is not easy as you have to nearly completely disassemble the laptop. The part number for the c cover with keyboard is 01LX507 . Search online using the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best.
