One map light is no longer working and it needs to be replaced. I cannot find a way to disconnect and then replace. I have a 2007 Forester SUBN

Hi, Here is an image, taken from the 2007 Subaru Forester Owner Manual that shows how to remove the map light lens so that the bulb can be replaced. Scroll to p.11-48

  1. Remove the lens by prying the edge of the lens with a flat-head screwdriver.
  2. Pull the bulb out of the socket. Install a new bulb.
  3. Reinstall the lens. The map light bulb is 12V-8W
