Chosen Solution
So a couple years ago my phone decided to just turn off and never turn back on again. I upgraded to a new phone and forgot about the old phone. Well I found it tonight and decided to plug it on for kicks and giggles and it turned on! Well it’s now asking me to put in my pattern which I obviously dont remember. How do I get in or back everything up so I dont have to lose everything doing a factory reset?
If there was a way to bypass your lock then it wouldn’t be a very good one. You’re going to have to perform a factory reset. There was an option to bypass it with your google account password in android 4.4 and below, but your phone is far newer than that.
