Some of my pictures in Photo have gone missing after I installed High Sierra. How can I restore them?
You’ll need to see if you can recover them using a recovery program like Data Rescue 5 for Mac.
yes data rescue or one of the various data recovery programs may be needed. You may have a back up in time machine or elsewere to restore to a previous state of the machine that may contain the pictures.
Did you use iPhoto before? You can open it from Launchpad or from the Applications folder in the Finder. If not try Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery Mac
