I saw the post on how to take the screen off, but I wasn’t sure how to go about taking off the digitizer for the screen. Is the digitizer even replaceable?
Your laptop with only have a digitizer if it is touch screen, if it is then the digitizer normally just sits on top of the LCD and they will probably come out together but be separable. There is also a slim chance that the digitizer and LCD are fused together which would mean that they would both have to be replaced together.
