Hello! I need to open up the front left speaker that comes with the HTS3540 to replace the wires, but so far I’ve been unable to do so. Can anyone guide me through?
Anything that is assembled will come apart. However, it may be destroyed in the process unless it was designed to allow disassembly. Start by looking for screws. Often screws are hidden behind labels or under stick on rubber feet. You can usually detect them under labels by rubbing your nail across the label and noting any circular depressions.That is a screw hole. For feet, you just have to remove one to find out. Lacking those, or in addition to, the case may be glued together. In that case, there is a good chance of breakage as you try to separate the halves. If you lick out, they are not very well glued or are not glued at all and can be pried loose from the internal clips that are holding it. However, those also break easily, so go slow.
