I do not have any problems with the device itself but I had a question regarding the Pro Toolkit. The P2 Pentaloob screw head is slightly too small for the phone (I believe), yet it is the recommended tool. Do I have to purchase a P3 separately in order to open iPhones? Or is this just a product of mass-production, in where I got a slightly larger Screw head? Thank you!
I don’t think there are different sizes of pentalobe screws on iPhones. According to this, P2 is the proper size. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentalobe_… If you do go with a larger size, be careful, as it may strip the screw, if it hasn’t been already. Could it be the screwdriver itself is worn?
