Hi, i’m completely new to repairs i’ve done 2 screen replacements so far but i have an iPhone 7 that needs to be plugged into the charger to work so i have bought a new battery for it however can i check if the battery is faulty with the multimeter? and does anyone knows some good guides on using a multimeter on an iPhone thanks in advance
@magictouch_ … find the negative plate and positive plate on the battery, match the meter accordingly. red is positive, black is negative. set the meter to dc voltage as thats what is being provided by batteries. this guide may help and is valid on these types of batteries across all device: Technique - Test the Battery
