My MacBook Pro had extensive water damage and was totaled. I currently have the display removed from the body. Is there a way to wire it up to be used as an external display for another computer?
Nickolas Fulton you can but not with the existing wiring etc. You would need to find an LCD driver board that fits your panel. Take a look at this guide Universal LCD driver Technique Even so it is a different LCD panel the steps are pretty much the same as they will be for your panel. Definitely a worthwhile task to complete
Sorry guy I don’t know of any Apple iDP (eDP) interface adapter for your screen which will allow you to re-use it. I did find this one for use with an Arno computer TFP401 HDMI/DVI DECODE 40PIN TTL Not sure if it will work or not.
