How to remove a striped 6.1 mm screw?

Hi Usually a “screw extractor” is used for such jobs. This is actually a drill bit which is designed to be used in an anti-clockwise direction. However, I’m not sure that there are screw extractors this small. I never had to remove such a small screw size, but what I generally do with tiny screws: i put a drop of super-glue (crazy glue) in the head hole. Then quickly insert (as much as possible) the end part of a drill bit (the part that goes into the chuck). Then, after 5 minutes i use pliers to carefully rotate the drill bit. For best results use super-glue in gel form. It gives you a bit more control over the amount you pour and it hardens slightly slower than the liquid types giving you a bit more time to work. Generally, very tiny screws do not need a lot of torque to be removed and the method works in most cases. Cheers! Bogdan
