I’m trying to replace my head phone jack and don’t understand how it gets a signal, it is only connected by a single screw to the inside of the iPod. Is a headphone jack replacement as simple as taking the old one out by removing the one screw and putting the new one in. It has to connect some how to get a signal but I don’t understand how. Please help.
