How is the processor cooling if there is nothing over it to take the heat away? There is nothing connecting the processor with the fan. I have attached a picture of the internal of my laptop. And what can be done to better its cooling? the Name of the model is Asus X412FA, i3 10gen CPU.

Here’s how to add pictures to your question in ifixit Adding images to an existing question In the image in Step.6 of the Asus VivoBook Q302LA-BHI3T09 Display Replacement guide, (laptop model you selected), you can see the heat sink covering the CPU. It is part of the heatsink/fan assembly (supplier example only to show part and cost) If you have a different model just search online for Asus (insert full model number) heatsink/fan assembly to find suppliers that suit you.
