I was actually having issues with the speakers but I could listen just fine with a headset before I decided to restart. A blue screen flashed briefly followed by a launch start up repair or normal launch choices. Naturally I took the repair route and now I’m looking at a black screen with nothing but my cursor to look at and move around. I wonder if this is normal and if it is, how long does it take?
hey, The blue screen ( blue screen of death) means that the laptop suffers some hardware problem. Did you had the time to make a screenshot or write down the info on the screen? In a BSOD is Always some info. You sayed that you had no sound? it could be that. But it would not make a laptop refusing to start up. Most of the time a BSOD appears you’ll see problems at the main PCB or hard drive , ram …. What you can do: Do you have the info on the blue screen? Did you tried to boot up in save mode or with a live cd? Kind regards, Kevin
