Hey Jeremy, I have the exact same model, and I bought the iFix it battery last week. Mine lasts for about 2 hours when watching online video (youtube or netflix) and about 3 - 4 hours when surfing.. so I’m starting to think that the problem is with the model + OS combination.. may be I should switch back to Mavericks. (I currently have Yosemite). I even did a fresh re install of the OS>. still doesnt help. You can try resetting your SMC.. for your computer to recognize the new battery.. http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
