I have an old samsung flatscreen i want to basically turn into an all-in-one pc withouot altering the outside. The only change i need made is a video port inside. I figure getting the hdmi port staying inside would b the best. Is there a safe way to bend the port? Would i need to solder a new one onto the board? Im a newb to soldering and those are tiiiiny contacts. The original port got destroyed and the only replacements i can find are playstation and xbox. Update (06/07/2019) Given the board pad orientation vs the direction i need to go , what if i just soldered a short hdmi cable’s wires to the board and stuck a coupler on the other end? Update (06/04/2019) Looking at breakout boards now too. What kind of wire do you use for this?

@mastalock this will really depend on what your current port looks like. The Hdmi ports do not bend well and you will most likely break a contact etc. You can replace them but they do need to be soldered. Check places like Mouser.com or digikey.com and you will find all kinds of HDMI ports. The soldering is a bit tough for a beginner so you want to practice first.
