Chosen Solution
Accidentally held the home key and the menu key at the same time. Now my iPod is in the restore mode. Is there any trick to reverse or cancel this? Otherwise I will have to restore it and everything will be lost. OUCH! Thanks for any suggestions. Norm
@musichouse ,Norman, I do not own this device, did a search and found this info at the link below, perhaps it will shut down your iPod and get you out of your predicament. If your iPod appears to have crashed or frozen and you need to force it to restart, simply hold down the ‘menu’ and ‘play’ buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds. The iPod should quit and reboot.
