HELLO I have an A1398 macbook pro retina with no green light on charger. I also say that there is not voltage in logicboard. I want to be sure for Dc jack is working or not? . How can I test it. I have a multimeter. Edit: I think I found the problem with jack. In this picture I show you an smd companent burned. Can I fix it or should I buy new dc jack
Nice work. I’d have just ordered a replacement connector on ebay myself but repair does generate less e-waste. Digikey, mouser and farnell all have stock in the UK perhaps you can find a source elsewhere in europe or just order on aliexpress.
