Chosen Solution
So recently a friend gave me his phone that felled in the sea. I am trying to repair that and found out that it charges and that some times vibrate when I am trying to turn it on. But I don’t know if the screen is still usable. Is there a way for me to check(with a multi meter) if the screen is still OK? Or should I buy a new one and check?
screen is probably dead, i had a samsung in for repair which had liquid damage, phone turned on but the screen was dead
If it lights up and turns on, touch function works and no signs of water trapped in the display its OK. Highly unlikely after being in salt water. Buy a new one.
