I spilled juice on my MacBook and quickly turned it off. I’ve disassembled it, cleaned and assembled it back, but now the display won’t turn on. I know the Mac is turning on due to the trackpad clicking and voice over. This design is much more complicated than older models and I don’t want to take the display out to figure out the LCD connections. Can someone point me to the relevant cables which connect the LCD to the logic board?

The design Apple used is exactly the same as the 2019 and older Touch Bar 13”/15” models. There is a single cable from the logic board which connects the T-CON board which in the older model was held inside the display lid, now its held within the uppercase! Here we have a bunch of ribbon cables Vs the cables that sneak through the hinges.

16” model layout I suspect you have damaged the T-CON board or the drink found its way into the display lid. You’ll likely need to replace the display assembly. 16” MacBook Pro - Display Assembly - Space Grey, Apple P/N 661-14200 - Used16” MacBook Pro - Display Assembly - Silver, Apple P/N 661-14201 - Used
