I just newly bought an ASUS K555L with windows 10. Our wifi internet connection is working properly but when i try to connect to internet using an ethernet cable, the laptop can recognize the network but no internet access. How can I fix it?

You can connect Macs and PCs to the Internet in this way, as long as they have Ethernet ports available. An Ethernet cord can be used to connect a computer to the Internet. Step 1 Attach one end of an ethernet cable to the ethernet port on the ethernet to USB adapter. An ethernet cable looks like a large telephone line and an ethernet port looks like a telephone jack. Step 2 Locate the ethernet port on the device that you want to connect to the computer. Step 3 Insert the other end of the ethernet cable that’s attached to the ethernet-to-USB adapter into the ethernet port on the device. Step 4 Find a USB port on the computer. A USB port is labeled “USB” and it will also have an image that resembles a triton, or a three-pronged spear. Step 5 Insert the USB end of the ethernet-to-USB adapter into the USB port.

Short answer is use the Wi-Fi connection :-) Long answer: I’ve discovered that when I connect to my Internet using two methods, things don’t go well. Make sure your choosing ethernet, disconnect from the Wi-Fi network. Mainly because the router is a pending your computer two addresses and he gets all wonky.
