Chosen Solution
The wire on the left ear bud was slightly tugged. I think the wires no longer connect to the circuit in the earbud. Is there any way I can pry open it so that I can solder it.
Get some pliers and gently squeeze the outer portion of the earbud where it is divided by a thin red line and twist and pull.
