Hi, I already apologize for my english, I’am not a native speaker. Does anyone have an idea about how to get the pictures after that the Xperia Z3 compact get drowned? Basically the phone don’t respond at all, it’s dead. I don’t care if the method doesn’t repare it, my first goal is to get back the pictures. They are stocked on the internal memory. Any ideas ? Thanks a lot Martin
First is to disconnect the power supply/battery. If it is not easily removable you will have to take apart the phone. This also helps to dry the phone and its parts. I prefer to already when I dry it to open the phone with one of our guides here on ifixit, to fasten the drying process. Here is a guide from ifixit Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Main Flex Replacement To see if you can still see liquid somewhere. Or if the liquid has caused any corrosion which has to be removed. Best done with a scratch brush like this one Scratch Brush Then I would connect the phone with the PC through a USB cable and try to turn it on to see it if it is recognized.
