I’ve had this issue for a while, and I suspect it might’ve occurred with a liquid spilling on the screen. Since then, the screen will move by itself at random times as if touched/swiped by an invisible finger, always on the same spot. I’ve tried cleaning the screen, and I’m sure enough time has passed that the liquid that might’ve caused it has evaporated, and I’m at a loss. What can I do to fix my screen?

Hi @Ruben Alvarez Here’s the maintenance and service guide for the laptop, taken from this webpage for the 14-da00xx series models. Go to p.34 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the systemboard. You don’t have to remove the systemboard! It is just so that you have access to the touch control cable (see page.35 #2 in image for location) to check that it is secure and that there is no corrosion etc. If it appears to be OK, as the touch panel is integrated with the LCD panel in the display assembly and not a separately replaceable component you may have to replace the display assembly - see p.28 The part number for the display assembly is L36904-001. Search online using the part number only to find suppliers of the part that suit you best.

You may have liquid damage first of all can you try updating all drivers and if that doesn’t fix it, open it up and check for any corrosion if there is take it to a laptop microsolderer.
