Hi Recently while changing my speaker for my late 2011 13” MacBook Pro. While reassembling back the cable, I accidentally broke one metal strip of the keyboard ribbon hub. Most of the keyboard alphabet is not responding. How can I fix it? Thank You
Ouch! This is not an easy job. You will need to replace the connector as yours is to far damaged to fix. you’ll need to find someone with the needed equipment to desolder your damaged connector and have access to a replacement from a junker board. Do you have anyone near you who has a rework station to fix logic boards? And has the needed skills and parts? Otherwise its time for a new logic board.
