Washing machine starts up and after 2 seconds it stops and this code came up. Have to reset the washer cause the door locks. Ive tried various different loads and even a empty load but no luck.
jmears83 , You did not state your model #. This is info i had come up with, F08 indicates that the heater is an open circuit. Check the heater wires for dislodged or burnt wires and check the heater for continuity with a meter. Check the link below for further info. and view the video. Good luck. I have the same problem. Replaced the heater, washer functions normally except for the error at the end of the washing when it shows F08. My brother also had the same issue but his machine was repaired at the shop. Mechanic couldn’t figure it out (why it is still showing error) so he reprogrammed control unit just for that…
