Chosen Solution
When I plug the headphone into the phone jack, the sound stops working and create a popping sound ( in the earpiece) instead. It doesn’t matters what sound source (You tube, music)comes from and the program locks up until I unplug the phone jack and sound resume though the external phone speakers. Looks like the phone jack is temporary shorted inside the unit until I unplug the jack.
I accidentally yanked out my earbuds while running and it seems that it damaged the audio port, I was hopping this can be replaced easily but it comes integrated in the logic board. Does anyone know where I can buy a headphone jack so I can get it soldered on?
