My toddler kicked my laptop off the couch and the battery came flying out. One of the little metal pieces on the laptop where the battery plugs in, broke off. What is the name of this piece and can it be replaced? I wish it were on the battery itself, then I could’ve just bought a new battery.
The battery connector is usually soldered to the motherboard so it’s hard to replace without replacing the motherboard.
