So İ accidentally broke off the power button on my Air and when İ tried putting it in İ may have lost a metal piece and now it wont work İ also have another Air with no OS and a cracked screen Should İ salvage parts and then put the missing keys from my old housing and then use it that way or take the screen off my Air with dead power button with SSD That mac has important stuff in it İt has very old pictures that İ want Or should İ ignore because my old 6 Plus has the pictures too
Keyboards keys are delicate! I would focus on swapping out the damaged parts to the good upper case system (broken screen) or just replace the MacBook Air 11" (Mid 2013-Early 2015) Upper Case part. Basically, transferring the parts to the good upper case.
