I had replaced my hard drive, then too this error continues. I’m also not able to install Windows 8.1 pro on my PC. Installation stucks at ‘Finishing Up’ and after some time it shows something like this - ‘Windows was unable to boot to next phase.’ Please help me on this.
Its very possible the Hard Drive is failing. Install a new HD and try the OS install again
