I recently splashed some water on my 55 inch Samsung curve tv and now when I power it on, the screen is just black-ish. I can hear the scrolling through the menu and see that there is some light behind the screen, but I can’t actually see anything. This damage happened one month ago. Any Recs on what I should do? Update (03/14/2018) Here are screenshots of my back panel (I unscrewed the back cover off)

And here is an image of the t con board

Here is the overall image of the back panel. The t con board is at the bottom middle of the tv (I think).

Update (03/14/2018) Also, the model number is UN55HU7200F

@rajhparikh this “see that there is some light behind the screen” would be a good indication that you do have a backlight. Check the two fuses on the t-con board for continuity as well as power. You should have ~12V there. BTW you do want to make sure that you checked all different inputs as well. So see what happens when your try coax, hdmi, component etc.

Hello Raj, I can only give you a partial answer due to the fact that no mention was made as to the model number was made and where the water landed on the tv. What happened was that you have lost the back light to the tv (most likely LED). You could verify this by using a bright flashlight and while the tv is on point it at the screen and you should be able to make out images on the screen if you look at it closely. The board assembly located at the bottom of the screen is most likely damaged. The pictures you gave may be a bit more useful if they where marked Top & bottom or another picture was given showing where everything is located (the entire back of the tv).
