Chosen Solution
The display cable has a break at the left hinge location where it flexes every time the lid is opened or closed. I can’t figure out how to get to the break. It is the MSI GP70 2Pe Leopard. I assume, I need to get into the motherboard to unplug it first in order to try and repair or replace it. Thanks for all help! Raising the lid up so far it works but any further and I loose screen til I pull it back toward me so far.
