Chosen Solution
I have a Sankyo bird toy that has a pull string mechanism. It is supposed to work like in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yzi_vvtu… While I fixed the music box I can’t understand how to get the wings and eyes to move with the music. Any suggestion on how to fix it? Or alternatively, a contact to Sankyo could be something :) Here it is opened:
Hi Vasco, It looks to me like the motion is driven by the gear on the side opposite the music box. My best guess is that the gear has slid over on its shaft to where it’s not lined up with the gear on the music box. I’m betting if you get that gear lined up correctly it will work.
