Hi, I would like to know how to upgrade my macbook pro 15 early 2011, procesador 2Ghz Intel core 7, Memory 16GB 133Mhz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 300 512 MB, 128GB SSD. It’s a bit heavy already but I am fully open to any suggestions¡¡ Maybe remove the CD drive and install another SSD 450Gb Kingstone but it will even heavier¡¡ Do you think guys that might be better try to sell it and buy a new one?? hahahaha Thank youu¡¡
What are your goals here? Is the systems weight your concern? You got a pretty sweet rig now. While it’s not the fastest CPU it’s no slouch. Keep in mind this system is serviceable unlike the current gen of the MacBook Pro’s. Swapping out of the optical drive to another SSD is not a bad idea to keep in mind you may have an issue with the SATA port. Review this: OWC Data Doubler check your system in the notes.
