How to install a push button start on my 1983 Mercedes Benz 300 SD? Will this make it where I can start my car still if I lost the key or have problem with the starter? If so…this would be wise to install! Thanks

So you will still need to have some additional switches installed. “have problem with the starter? “, no. A push button starter still only close the circuit to the starter. It will not resolve any starter issues. Take a look at the wiring diagram for your Benz to see what all happens on it.
