I’m doing research to buy a Macbook White A1342 from 2009 but the screen is broken! So I’m gonna attempt to repair it but I watched a video of someone replacing the screen in another Mac but there screen manufacture was different from the one of the motherboard or something and it didn’t work, so I searched if it was the samething with my MacBook and yes apparently it was but I don’t know how to discover what is the screen manufacture or the motherboard manufacture. Can someone help????

There is only one screen for the A1342 series. I think you got confused by the older MacBook’s which did have some variations based on the given logic board.
