I need to replace the power port. I found this video of how to do that: https://www.google.com/search?q=dell+xps… (I have no affiliation with the contents). I have written to Dell to ask them if they will sell me first party parts so that I can replace the DC port also a few of the keys else the entire keyboard of the laptop. But… Are there specifications of the port so that I could obtain a third party one? ifixitnoob. Thanks, in advance.
Hi @kelly123 Here’s the service manual for the laptop which may also help. Go to p.75 to view the procedure to remove/replace the power adapter port (aka DC-In jack). Search online for Dell XPS 13 9360 Dc-In jack or CN-00P7G3 (Dell part #) to find suppliers that suit you best.
