Hi all ;) Hoping someone can help.. The device was subject to water damage, and has a black screen and no audio. When connected to a PC, ITunes can see it, restore it, show battery level and such.. I want to power it down in order to disassemble. Any thoughts? Can I just open it, unplug the battery, and be fine?
Yes, that is the best way. Just be sure the battery is disconnected first :)
