Hello, I replaced a screen on an iPhone a few days ago and it worked fine then it wouldn’t respond to touch. I want to turn it off and check the cables, but I can’t slide it off since the touch screen won’t work. I can’t unlock the phone either to mess with it and use the battery faster. Can I unhook the battery cable while it’s on and not end up messing the phone up?
Yes; you can disconnect the battery while the phone is still on. It will not cause any damage.
