I’m trying to remove both the front and back camera to a couple of iPhone 7s for use at a secure site. How can I remove the front-facing Camera without removing the sensor/speaker. It doesn’t look like I can detach the SE Front Camera section from the Proximity sensor cable. Any help would be much appreciated
You cannot separate the front assembly. If they will not let you black the front camera out you will have to cut the flex before the camera. The sensor and earpiece speaker should still work.
