How To Remove Lightning Connector That Broke Off In Lightning Port Magic Trackpad 2

Hi, The lightning connector from the cable broke off and is now stuck in the lightning port on my trackpad 2 so of course i can’t insert a new lightning cable to charge this anymore. Other than taking this apart, does anyone have ideas on how i can remove the broken off lightning tip?

I would use a hemostat or small needle nose pliers to grab it and pull it out. Hemostat Long Nose 1.2 mm Thin Plier C.H.P. PN-2005

If you take it in to an Apple store and ask nicely, they may have tools that will get it out.
