Chosen Solution
I have worked on many different phones and tablets before and have no problem removing the old adhesive residue with alcohol and qtips/scrapers. But this is first time i seen the adhesive so strong and hard to remove the residue. I am planning to reuse the digitizer because that is not broken. Seems like i might have to heat it up just to remove it.. TIA
Try putting your alcohol on a cotton ball and place it on the adhesive with some plastic wrap covering it. to prevent evaporation, and let it soak for a while.
