I have this same issue. My model is GE WJRE5550K2. When I bought the washer, there were problems with the electronics. The repairman eventually told me to just remove the front panel and push a reset switch which he pointed out. Unfortunately my washer will not spin in the drain and spin cycle, but I didn’t notice how he removed the front panel and now can’t figure it out.
