I’m trying to replace the screen on my mi mix 2s and there’s this little blue plastic tab towards the bottom:
Old screen on the left, new one on the right. The tab i’m referring to is that blue thing at the bottom right.I’m assuming i’m supposed to remove it, but I tried pulling but it doesn’t seem like it’ll come out without me pulling off the whole grey part on top of it. Any suggestions?
i wouldnt. its plastic and non conductive. is the screen an OEM Replacement? if so id email or message them and ask what it is. if i were you id just fold its under the PCB in the picture. you could just trim it with some small scissors or tweezers and an exacto knife!
