The USB charger that came with my cell (gt i9300) stopped working the second i used it with a cheap USB wire, is there anyway to fix/repait the charger, i opened it up, couldnt find anything burnt. please tell me if its fixable or should i go to buy a new 1
If the charging port is broken you’ll have to unsolder the current contact and resolder a new one.
The charge port will have to be replaced. 100% sure. We do several of these a week. If you do not have soldering experience then I would not recommend trying this repair. It requires a microscope, soldering iron, and a heat gun. It is also a very difficult repair and it is easy to ruin the motherboard during the process. I would take the phone to a professional or get a new phone.
