A picture frame fell on top of the printer and cracked the scanner glass, scanner not working. Is there a replacement glass and how do i replace it?
Open up the printer, take out the old glass, get some new picture glass 3mm cut to size, stick it in using sticky fixer strip. Cost £5. Satisafaction: great.
Scanner glass is replaceable in almost all instances, but it entirely depends on the thickness of your scanners glass. Most scanner glasses are 3mm thin, so basically you’ll have to measure the size (length and width) and have it cut from shops that specialize in glass works. And all you need to know is how to replace it the new glass back into the scanner.
