My 4 month old Xperia Z now has a fault in the charging port and it has completely come out. There is no damage to the phone and the door covering the phone is all intact…the fault developed as I unplugged the charger after a charge and the port is now inside the charger cable……can somebody help me or will it be repairable…..?????? if yes will it be repairable in india
This part is soldered to the board I wouldn’t recommend doing the repair yourself with no prior soldering experience
You can repair it by your own. To buy a new charging port cable and watch a Sony Xperia Z teardown video. Or send it to sony customer service.
