Hello, I have a Kenmore microwave model number 401.88522011 made by Samsung and the plastic around the door cracked and a piece broke off, so I ordered a new door part number DE94-02053B. It came with no instructions and I can’t figure out how to get the old door off. It’s not a usual door, it opens from both the left and right sides and there are no screws holding it in. If anyone could tell me how to remove and install the door or direct me to the service manual, it would be greatly appreciated.

Rick, the Sears Parts Direct has the exploded diagram which might help some. It shows the hinges seemingly held in by three screws and also there are side brackets which seem to need to be removed to access the hinges. It would seem though in a design like this perhaps the door is “keyed” onto the pins of the hinge so that if you lift and/or try to rotate / tilt the door you may be able to get one side off its pin then maybe you’ll be able to get the other side and the door will come off the hinge without needing to remove the hinges. Good luck!

Ok I figured out how to remove the old door. I opened the door and with a small right angle pick closed the cams on the open side and pressed the little button near the hinge a the same time to make it latch. Then just pulled the other side open, door is off! On the new door make sure one side of the door cams are open and the other side are closed. Put the door on the side with the open cams. I think I had to mess with the buttons near the cams to get it to latch then Using the right angle pick I opened the cams on the other end of the door and then closed it. Door is on! Now I need to figure out how to adjust it.
