I have a 2002 Murray 11 HP 30” riding mower, model 31602A. The drive belt is frayed and slipping. I have a replacement belt, but cannot see how the belt can be installed. I removed the cutting deck and can loop the new belt over the blade pulley and onto the drive pulley, and feed the belt over all linkage, but cannot see how to install onto the rear pulley. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
There should be an adjustable pulley. Or a tensioner pulley. It will have a square hole in the middle for a ratchet to insert and move it enough for you to loosen the tension on the belt and finish installing Update (11/03/2018) I know you have a different model then what the video is but I hope it helps https://youtu.be/u1o9WQqOSvw https://youtu.be/HKI7qI7iIBE https://youtu.be/dW8DYMCjC9E
