I replace the original 80GBSeagate hard drive with a Western Didgital Caviar Blue 160GB hard drive. what steps are necessary to instal OSX10.4 on the new hard drive. Also, what position is the jumper placed
Here’s how to install the RAM and hard drive: http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/systems/iMac_… I’ll need to know your current RAM configuration to be able to tell you how much RAM you’ll need for 10.4. I would also replace the 3.6 volt PRAM battery while I was in there.
