Will heat release the glue of the. Lenses COVER.? I bought the lense cover but I can not find anything as to how to remove just cover by itself!?, anyone have a step by step guide or a video that you have discovered? Thank you, papa
The glass is stuck on there really good and just heat will not help much. The glass will just keep breaking while you remove it and some will get inside. The best way to do this is by taking apart the phone and removing the camera to be able to prevent it from getting damage. You can also try using a small tip vacuum cleaner right at the camera while prying out the glass bit by bit while keeping it warm so it doesn’t end up falling in the camera.
Did anyone ever answer this? I also got a lens with cover when ordering the part. can I remove the lens housing from the Backglass without cracking the back?
I bought a Replacement lense with the iron ring around it.. how can i replace that?
I replaced the lens without taking the phone apart. Somewhere someone recommended using a utility knife and carefully breaking the lens out piece by piece. I did that with a utility knife and finished up with an X-acto knife. It worked fine for me.
